Nov 21, 2005

BELFRY, Ky. -- (QMMG. OTCBB) Quest Minerals and Mining Corp. has completed the rehabilitation of the Pond Creek mine at Slater's Branch, and is ready to commence production in two weeks.

The Pond Creek seam is a high quality compliance coal with sulfur as low as .55%. The MAF is 14500-15,000 and inherent ash of only 6%.

Along with the development of the joint venture with JJ Resources of Kentucky Inc., Quest Mining and Minerals will have two operations in production by December 2005.

Quest estimates the monthly raw tonnage will be over 50,000 tons per months increasing to 150,000 tons per month by June 2006.

CEO William Wheeler stated "I am extremely satisfied with the progress of the company over the past 90 days to reopen its properties and its ability to add new properties. In the current climate of high energy prices we look forward to a strong 2006."
